Stand with Carers:
our ACT Election 2024 Campaign

Recognising, Valuing, and Supporting over 58,000 Unpaid Carers in the ACT.

Every day, more than 58,000 people in the ACT take on the role of unpaid carers. These individuals support family, friends, or neighbours through some of life’s most rewarding, and challenging moments. These carers often go unrecognised, yet their contribution is essential to the wellbeing of our community.

We want to change this.

Our grassroots election campaign calls on carers, their families, and supporters to rally behind our eight key election asks. We want the candidates for any new ACT Government to commit to policies that ensure carers are recognised, valued, and supported. We must see policies that safeguard the health, wellbeing, financial stability, and ability of carers to live fulfilling lives.

Join us in raising awareness and advocating for change. Together, we can build a Canberra that truly cares for its carers.
