Demetia Action Week
This week is Demetia Action Week and calls for communities that take action to become dementia friendly.
The focus of this week is to create communities with less fear, less stigma and a greater understanding of people with dementia, and those who care for them.
At Carers ACT, we understand the pressures for carers who support people who live with dementia, and we call on people to learn more and help create a society that helps.
For our part, we have an open day for our Deakin Respite Cottage on Saturday 30 September.
Our Cottages are low care services for people who are Ageing or living with Dementia.
We have 2 sessions booked for the day.
Morning Session – 11:00am – 12:30pm
Afternoon Session – 12:30pm – 2:00pm
