  • (CLOSED) Have Your Say: NDIS CALD Strategy Sessions image

This opportunity has now closed. Thank you to everyone who participated.

Carers ACT would like to let carers know that the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is co-designing a new Cultural and Linguistic Diversity (CALD) Strategy and action plan. NDIA are doing this by working with people with disability from CALD backgrounds, including hosting information sessions.

These information sessions will provide an overview of the project and share key learnings about ways to improve the NDIS for CALD people with disability.

At the end of the session, NDIA will invite you to have your say about how the NDIS can support people with disability from CALD backgrounds achieve outcomes on an equal basis with the broader population.

Who should attend:

NDIA encourage people who have not already participated in our CALD Strategy focus groups, who have lived experience of disability to attend, or those who represent a CALD disability community or advocacy group.

RSVP:

Please register via Eventbrite: NDIS Cultural and Linguistic Diversity (CALD) Strategy Information Session Tickets, Multiple Dates | Eventbrite

If you attend these sessions and wish to share your views with Carers ACT, please email carer.advocacy@carersact.org.au
